--Over at the Jewel Vault, announced changes to June's usual schedule of pomp: the Order of the Garter serviced was cancelled and a "dressed down" version of the State Opening of Parliament put in its place - with a flashback to what such an event looked like in the past.
--King Carl Gustaf turned 71 on Sunday. His usual palace celebration with the public and the family included an affectionate Princess Estelle, dressed again in one of her mother's old dresses, and Crown Princess Victoria, who hightailed it back to Sweden after the weekend's Dutch birthday festivities.
